We follow Kara Zor-El as she leaves Krypton alongside an infant Kal-El, seconds prior to the planet’s explosion. But along the way the two are separated, and Kara follows her cousin to Earth decades too late (apparently space travel cuts down on your aging) to find Superman imprisoned and a planet trying to put itself back together.
Supergirl apparently isn’t completely on board with Superman’s totalitarian take on world peace, and the trailer hints at a Kryptonian powered showdown with Kal – not surprisingly taking a “your’re either with me or against me” stance.
Injustice 2 launches May 16 of this year. It’s worth mentioning that pre-ordering will mean access to another Superman character – the iconic villain, Darkseid. Stay tuned to GameSkinny for more news as the release draws closer.
